These terms govern purchases made through our online store. 

1.Products and Availability

Product Types

Stock in Costa Rica:

Products available in our Escazú warehouse.

Delivery in 2-4 business days.

Import:

Products made to order, subject to factory availability.

Delivery time varies and will be confirmed before purchase.

Availability

Stock levels shown on the site are approximate.

If a product sells out after your purchase, we will contact you within 24 hours to offer alternatives, a new delivery timeframe, or a full refund.

2.Pricing and Payment

Prices

Prices do not include sales tax (IVA).

Discounted prices apply specific conditions as indicated in promotions.

Payment Method

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Banco BAC San José.

3.Pickup

Collection at Oficentro Condal, Escazú.

Merchandise is delivered at our warehouse properly packed.

If you hire external transport, Lumen delivers to the carrier but assumes no responsibility for damage caused during transit.

You must authorize in writing anyone receiving on your behalf.

4.Warranty

Coverage

Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

Excludes:

• Installation or uninstallation labor.
• Damage from misuse, mishandling, or incorrect installation.
• Normal product wear and tear.

Claim Procedure

Notify us within 10 calendar days of detecting the defect.

Provide original invoice and documented evidence (photos, video).

Product must be unused and in original packaging for replacement.

Transportation costs to our warehouse are borne by the customer.

Inspection

Our staff will inspect the product with you or your representative at the time of delivery.

Signed delivery receipts limit subsequent claims for physical damage or shortages.

5.Returns

Non-Returnable Items

• Used, installed, or damaged products.
• Special import orders except for factory defects.
• Customized products or items with discounts greater than 30%.

6.Customer Responsibility

Verify compatibility of luminaires with existing controls, dimmers, or switches before purchasing.

Lumen assumes no responsibility for incompatibilities not previously consulted in writing.

7.General Provisions

Acceptance:

By completing a purchase, you accept these terms.

Variations:

Measurements and quantities of handmade products may have minor variations inherent to their manufacture.

Modifications:

We may update these terms; changes apply from their publication on the site.
