• Data we do not store: Complete credit or debit card numbers, or security codes (CVV). This information is processed directly through the Banco BAC San José payment gateway.  
• Data Sharing: We only share your information with courier companies for deliveries and with authorities when legally required. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes. 

Platform Security 

Our online store operates on Odoo with the following security measures: 

• Encryption: SSL/TLS connection across the entire site 
• Passwords: Stored in encrypted format 
• Access: Limited by roles and logged for audit purposes 
• Backup: Regular security copies 

Payment Security (Banco BAC San José) 

When paying by card: 

• You enter your data in our secure checkout (HTTPS). 
• Information travels encrypted directly to Banco BAC San José servers. 
• The bank processes the transaction with your card issuer. 
• We receive only the payment confirmation — never your complete card number. 
• Our integration complies with PCI DSS (international payment security standard) and uses 3D Secure authentication when applicable. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Avoid making purchases on unsecured public WiFi networks. 
• Regularly review your orders and report any suspicious activity immediately. 

Incident Response 

If we detect a security breach affecting your personal data: 

• We will notify you promptly. 
• We will inform the relevant authorities according to Costa Rican law. 
• We will publish a statement on our website if the situation warrants it.

We review these policies annually or whenever our technologies or regulations change. The effective date appears at the end of this document.
